To assist you with the development of a real-time link from your system to
AnswerCo's cross reference search engine, we have provided you access to the
following XML test page. The Document Type Definition (DTD) can be found at
http://xml.xrefengine.com/dtd/request1.dtd and can viewed with any text viewer.
A sample of the required format is included below. The authentication information section defines the client's rights to the AnswerCo search engine (please use the included company and user/password combination for testing purposes, once you begin using the real-time XML feeds, a unique user and password will be provided). The query information section contains the search request. Simply change the data within the field parameters and click submit. The results you receive back will provide you with the layout of the XML feed to be returned to your parsing program. Once you have developed your parsing of the return XML feed, please contact us at 214-ANSWERS to begin processing live data.
